Associate Director, Global Insights & Analytics (Biotech)

Location: United States, California, Foster City

Salary: $195,670–$253,220 annually in the Bay Area; other US locations: $177,905–$230,230 annually. Additional eligibility may include an annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and validate patient-based epidemiology forecasting models for new markets and assets.
• Develop forecast assumptions, analogues, scenarios, and assessments of opportunities and risks.
• Provide demand-planning input and synthesize market dynamics affecting product performance.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative market research with physicians, patients, and payers across the US and ex-US markets.
• Manage research vendors and integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary analytics into actionable insights.
• Partner with business development, commercial leadership, marketing, R&D, and finance to support opportunity assessments, brand planning, and cell therapy strategy.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience, bachelor’s degree and 8+ years, or high school degree and 12+ years.
• Experience in forecasting and market research within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of the hematology and oncology clinical landscape and cell therapy business.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and work under significant time pressure.
• Ability to extract business insights and provide strategic recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Comfort presenting to senior leadership and defending forecast assumptions.

Nice to have

• Experience in Large B-Cell Lymphoma.
• Strategic agility in applying forecasting and primary market research methods where standard frameworks do not exist.
