Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance

What you will do

• Own the five-year operating model and lead annual and quarterly planning.
• Build hiring plans and maintain three-statement forecasts for lender and covenant reporting.
• Own sales capacity modeling, quota setting, territory and segment planning, and pipeline analytics with go-to-market leadership.
• Design and support commission plans and analyze pricing and packaging decisions.
• Track core SaaS metrics, including ARR, net revenue retention, pipeline coverage, sales efficiency, CAC payback, burn multiple, and gross margin.
• Build leadership dashboards and reporting, prepare board materials, and use AI tools to accelerate forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Ability to build and maintain P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts from scratch.
• Strong financial modeling skills and quantitative judgment.
• Ability to explain complex financial analysis concisely to executives.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY.
• Comfort working across a broad scope with shifting priorities at an early-stage company.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or early-stage operating environments.
• Experience partnering with go-to-market teams on capacity planning or pipeline analytics.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for modeling, reporting, or internal tooling.
