Commercial Loan Assistant (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Coordinate commercial loan closings, including communication with attorneys, appraisers, and other external professionals.
• Work with internal departments to prepare loan documents and meet closing deadlines.
• File and distribute financial, collateral, and loan documentation after closing.
• Maintain customer files and support relationship managers with portfolio administration, collateral tracking, financial statement tracking, and exception management.
• Serve as a client relationship representative by handling customer inquiries, complaints, account openings, and daily servicing needs.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services while supporting commercial relationship teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of banking experience.
• Ability to provide skilled administrative and clerical support in a commercial banking environment.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to work in an office or banking center and meet the role's physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
