Senior Implementation Manager (GovTech)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Compensation: $88,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout end-to-end onboarding, lead kickoff meetings, gather business processes and requirements, and advise on implementation best practices.
• Configure SaaS products, including system settings, workflows, integrations, data loads, reports, and available out-of-the-box functionality.
• Carry out project management activities by managing implementation scope, communications, risks, opportunities, and change-management guidance.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to transition customers from sales to adoption and resolve implementation issues.
• Develop and deliver client training, user guides, implementation documentation, and knowledge-base articles.
• Contribute to improving implementation processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and lead workshops.
• Technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications and address implementation challenges.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to create and document reports generated from relational databases, including authoring reports.

Nice to have

• High comfort level with Excel.
• Experience authoring SSRS or Power BI reports.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations, particularly GovTech.
• Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar project-tracking and time-management software.
