Personal Banker - Lumberton (Retail Banking)

What you will do

• Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and solutions.
• Conduct outbound calls, appointment setting, service-to-sales conversations, teller interactions, and lobby engagement.
• Build customer loyalty and increase share of wallet through personalized financial guidance.
• Resolve customer problems while managing risk and following banking policies and procedures.
• Participate in branch operations and provide teller coverage during a Saturday rotation of 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of related experience or relevant product knowledge.
• Typically an associate degree or equivalent experience; comparable education, certifications, military service, and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of banking products, retail lending, selling, prospecting, customer needs, and problem solving.
• Strong customer service, communication, accountability, and prioritization skills.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
• Successful candidates are subject to applicable background checks and financial-industry regulatory requirements.
