2027 Public Sector & Infrastructure Consulting Intern (Technology)

Location: United States; offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. The role follows a principally in-person model and may require local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Assess, improve, and redesign client processes.
• Support research, special analyses, and consulting projects.
• Research advanced technologies and contribute to thought leadership.
• Assist public sector clients with selecting and implementing enterprise technology solutions, including ERP, EAM, CIS, and SIS platforms.
• Develop client relationships and participate in networking and business development activities.
• Travel to client sites for vendor demonstrations, stakeholder interviews, and implementation management support.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to consulting work.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Work hours may exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Nice to have

• Information technology or engineering knowledge and experience.
• Experience using AI tools and effective prompting techniques for research, analysis, content development, and problem-solving.
• Experience selecting or implementing enterprise technology solutions such as ERP, EAM, CIS, or SIS.
• Bilingual Japanese-English or Chinese-English ability, which may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
