What you will do

• Support consulting engagements through analyses and deliverables related to clients’ strategic, financial, and operational objectives.
• Prepare supporting analyses for financing activities and organize due diligence materials.
• Help evaluate debt, equity, and other funding sources for affordable housing engagements.
• Collaborate with Staff, Seniors, Managers, and Principals across industries and services.
• Engage with nonprofit organizations, publicly traded multinational corporations, and public housing authorities.
• Participate in a weeklong developmental intern orientation and learn through mentoring and client engagement work.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Affordable Housing, Accounting, Finance, or a related program.
• At least one academic term must remain after completion of the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No prior professional experience is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
• Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process.
