What you will do
- Build and maintain real-time software for vision AI pipelines, from video ingest and processing to model serving and downstream actions.
- Design low-latency, high-throughput services processing live video across thousands of checkouts and stores.
- Work with applied science and platform teams to productionize models while meeting latency, cost, and reliability targets.
- Optimize video decoding, streaming, GPU inference, and memory usage across the software stack.
- Build reliability features for failure handling, backpressure, and scale; debug production issues involving video, hardware, and networks.
- Contribute to shared libraries, tooling, testing, documentation, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building real-time or high-performance production software.
- Hands-on experience with real-time applications for vision AI or video pipelines.
- Strong systems programming skills; C/C++ and Rust are preferred, with Python for tooling and integration.
- Understanding of concurrency, networking, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with FFmpeg, GStreamer, or similar streaming and video frameworks.
- Experience with CUDA, TensorRT, DeepStream, GPU programming, or the broader NVIDIA ecosystem.
- Knowledge of cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization principles.
