TL;DR
Sr. Regulatory Specialist (Pharmaceutical Distribution Compliance): Managing licensing compliance, regulatory intelligence, operational regulatory support, and controlled substance due diligence in pharmaceutical distribution and 3PL environments with an accent on audit-ready records, regulatory impact assessment, and DEA and state requirements. Focus on monitoring suspicious orders, evaluating customer licensure, implementing regulatory changes in SOPs, and maintaining inspection readiness.

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Office-based role with occasional travel of less than 20%.

Salary: USD 69,525–83,172 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the preparation, submission, renewal, and maintenance of state and federal licenses.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready licensing records and support regulatory inspection readiness.
  • Monitor regulatory updates from BOP, DOH, FDA, DEA, and relevant industry organizations and assess their operational impact.
  • Integrate regulatory changes into SOPs, operational controls, and business processes.
  • Provide regulatory support for distribution and client operations, including customer licensure verification and shipment compliance.
  • Conduct controlled substance due diligence, investigate suspicious or abnormal orders, and support compliance program improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 1–3 years.
  • Experience or training in problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and manage workflows flexibly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of suspicious order monitoring systems; a Florida or California Designated Representative certification is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Florida or California Designated Representative certification.
