Location: Washington, DC office; ability to work from the office required. Travel of up to 25% is required for customer meetings, site visits, conferences, and other business-development activities. Applicants must meet U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
Salary: $130K–$220K plus equity.

is a Series C advanced-energy startup developing mass-producible, inherently safe microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.
What you will do
- Identify, qualify, and develop commercial microreactor opportunities across U.S. energy-intensive sectors.
- Build customer relationships, lead early discussions, and translate customer needs into actionable projects.
- Create opportunity maps covering decision-makers, power requirements, economics, permitting, incentives, financing, siting, and execution risks.
- Work with Finance and Engineering to assess technical requirements, cost assumptions, project economics, financing approaches, and commercial structures.
- Coordinate with Regulatory, Government Affairs, and company leadership to evaluate feasibility, policy barriers, and priority opportunities.
- Prepare customer presentations, proposals, market analyses, leadership recommendations, and support negotiations toward commercial agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; a STEM degree is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, project development, commercial strategy, energy policy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and advance complex commercial opportunities.
- Strong understanding of domestic energy policy, permitting processes, and state and federal incentives.
- Ability to assess customer needs, project economics, market conditions, and execution risks.
- Ability to work from the Washington, DC office and satisfy U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, permitting, or commercial project development.
- Experience developing complex physical infrastructure projects or working in regulated markets with long development and sales cycles.
- Familiarity with the U.S. electricity sector and onsite power generation.
- Experience with state or federal energy programs and incentives.
- Familiarity with nuclear energy or advanced energy technologies.
