Quality Engineer Lead (Python/Java)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Strongsville, Ohio; Birmingham, Alabama; or Dallas, Texas

Salary: $86,250–$158,125 base salary annually, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions using Python and Java.
• Lead the development and review of test strategies, plans, tools, and testing approaches.
• Integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and support CI/CD practices.
• Provide technical direction, guidance, and coaching to quality engineering team members.
• Monitor testing risks, defects, resource gaps, and environment issues.
• Prepare test summaries and documentation for technology leaders, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Quality engineering leadership experience with scalable testing solutions and automation frameworks.
• Experience making architectural decisions and applying modern testing technologies.
• Ability to manage end-to-end project delivery and collaborate with developers, product owners, QE analysts, and other cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, application testing, test case development, usability testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
