What you will do

  • Develop, evaluate, and optimise die attach processes using silver epoxy, silver sinter, and eutectic technologies.
  • Support gold wire and ribbon bonding process development and optimisation.
  • Define process parameters, validation methodologies, qualification plans, and manufacturing standards.
  • Lead process trials, proof-of-concept builds, technology feasibility activities, and New Product Introduction support.
  • Conduct thermal, mechanical, and reliability assessments to improve long-term product performance.
  • Drive yield, quality, throughput, cost-reduction, process-control, automation, and root-cause improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes in a technical production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of silver epoxy die attach, silver sintering, eutectic die attach, or gold wire bonding.
  • Strong understanding of materials behaviour, thermal management, and reliability considerations.
  • Experience with process validation, capability studies, statistical analysis, SPC, Cp/Cpk, or yield monitoring.
  • Ability to work analytically and collaboratively across engineering, quality, RF engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience in semiconductor or RF module assembly, high-precision automotive electronics, or power electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of automation, process stability, and zero-defect manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of RF packaging requirements and JEDEC standards.
  • Experience with thermomechanical modelling, reliability testing, IATF 16949, or ISO 9001 quality systems.
