Freelance Translator - English to Slovenian (AI)

What you will do

• Review and post-edit machine-translated English-to-Slovenian segments.
• Fix critical errors, glossary issues, inconsistencies, and other major problems in QE-approved strings.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and consistent with client terminology and style guidelines.
• Provide feedback on AI translation performance and improvement areas.
• Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

Requirements

• Native Slovenian speaker required.
• A bachelor's degree in translation, interpreting, or a related field, or at least three years of full-time translation experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to work with machine translation and quality evaluation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with translation memory tools, CAT tools, and glossaries.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of legal, marketing, technical, or other industry-specific terminology.
