Senior Audit Manager, Personal & Business Banking Channels (Retail Banking)

Location: Toronto, ON, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay, 34th Floor; remaining days are remote.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, and execute risk-based audits and advisory engagements for medium- and large-complexity retail banking businesses.
• Manage audit engagements across planning, fieldwork, reporting, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Assess business processes, risks, and internal controls; identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Support continuous monitoring by evaluating the control environment and identifying emerging risks and trends.
• Communicate audit status and findings clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Mentor junior auditors and contribute to improved audit methodologies, AI adoption, and continuous auditing practices.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience planning and executing risk-based operational audits.
• Comprehensive knowledge of audit practices, risk assessment principles, and control methodologies.
• Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to retail banking within a large financial institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Professional designation such as CPA or CIA, or equivalent business experience, is an asset.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Toronto location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
