Senior Analyst, AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Provide timely advice and independent oversight of compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Investigate AML cases by liaising with business units and accessing internal systems to obtain supporting information and documentation.
• Support recommended investigation outcomes using financial intelligence from internal and external sources.
• Assist with designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide strategies to mitigate AML risks.
• Monitor complex or contentious regulatory compliance issues and recommend action plans for non-compliance.

Requirements

• Experience with consumer regulatory and compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing frameworks.
• Experience working with varied payment and transaction types.
• Ability to research laws, regulations, and industry commitments; assess risks; and communicate regulatory changes.
• Strong critical thinking, investigation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of COINS, ECIF, SWIFT, PRM, PostEdge, or WorldCheck.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
