hirify.global is hiring for an internship within its Corporate Tax Department.

What you will do

• Support the tax provision accounting process and prepare related components.
• Extract and analyze accounting records for income tax return preparation.
• Assist with federal and state income tax returns using Corptax.
• Prepare state allocation and apportionment information and reconcile it with financial statements and general ledger data.
• Compile information for responses to federal, state, and local tax authority inquiries.
• Research tax issues and participate in planned intern events and training.

Requirements

• Undergraduate major in Accounting or Finance.
• Completion of at least Intermediate Level Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to work in Rochester, New York, and sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer.
