Lead DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Own the DevOps technical roadmap, reference architectures, reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, pipeline templates, and engineering standards.
• Design and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including landing zones, account structures, networks, Kubernetes platforms, and managed container services.
• Lead CI/CD and automation strategy using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Flux.
• Define observability, reliability, incident response, SLO, capacity planning, backup, disaster recovery, and multi-region practices.
• Embed DevSecOps controls, support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance initiatives, and optimize cloud costs through FinOps practices.
• Mentor engineers, review infrastructure and pipeline changes, advise clients, participate in pre-sales, and lead continuous improvement using DORA metrics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering, including 2+ years leading teams or owning DevOps across multiple products or clients.
• Hands-on expertise with at least two major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus working knowledge of the third.
• Deep infrastructure-as-code experience, especially Terraform, and configuration management experience such as Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, compliance-driven environments, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and client-facing advisory skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or CKA.
• Experience advising senior client stakeholders.
