Senior Splunk Enterprise Monitoring Specialist – IT Operations (Splunk)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do

• Support and optimize Splunk, OpenTelemetry, Cribl, SolarWinds, and Dynatrace monitoring tools.
• Automate routine IT operations tasks and processes using Ansible.
• Collaborate with development and production teams on migration to the new Splunk Enterprise and ITSI platform.
• Create dashboards and metrics to improve operational insights.
• Propose and implement improvements to monitoring tools, processes, and KPIs.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in IT operations and monitoring.
• Expertise in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ITSI.
• Knowledge of Cribl and experience building impactful dashboards.
• Experience with Ansible and monitoring process improvement.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Splunk or related monitoring tool certifications.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability solutions.
• Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
