Sr Manager, AI Solutions Tech Lead (AI)

Location: Greece, Thessaloniki Chortiatis; hybrid work assignment. Flexible working hours are required to collaborate with stakeholders across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Occasional travel may be expected.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of AI products across blended teams of 10+ internal engineers and external contractors while contributing through pull request reviews and feature development.
• Set, document, and enforce engineering standards, development practices, testing discipline, and release readiness.
• Drive technical decisions through trade-off analysis, proposals, and recommendations for engineering teams, product owners, and leadership.
• Analyze integrations, system dependencies, technical debt, and cross-solution designs, prioritizing improvements through resolution.
• Guide implementation across data products, AI data products, generative and agentic AI solutions, and full-stack applications from POC to MVP and enterprise production.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor delivery while collaborating with product, data science, engineering, security, and digital teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, plus 7+ years of hands-on AI, data, or software engineering experience.
• Technical leadership experience coordinating teams of 10+ members, including internal and contractor contributors.
• Deep expertise in at least one of data engineering, data science and ML engineering, AI engineering, or backend/full-stack development, with working knowledge of the others.
• Fluency in Python, proficiency in SQL, and experience building, deploying, and testing complex software systems.
• Experience with cloud analytics ecosystems such as AWS or Snowflake, modern data tooling such as Airflow and dbt, cloud infrastructure, backend engineering, CI/CD, and testing.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal, are required. Agile experience and the ability to influence contributors outside direct reporting lines are also required.

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience building generative and agentic AI solutions and using MLOps/LLMOps practices and tooling.
• Front-end development experience, with emphasis remaining on backend engineering.
• Pharmaceutical or life science commercial knowledge, data literacy, and awareness of applicable regulatory and legal considerations.
