Design Engineer - Wire Harness

Salary: $74,000–$111,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients to gather wire harness requirements and finalize missing design inputs.
• Create detailed wire harness designs and manufacturing documentation using Cadonix Arcadia.
• Design mechanical harness routing and retention using SolidWorks.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and client specifications.
• Support manufacturing teams during production and participate in design reviews.
• Manage the Arcadia part database, user permissions, documentation, and internal design-quality processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in wire harness design.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Understanding of electrical first principles, wire routing, and harness assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with UL, IPC, and SAE standards related to the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to delivering high-quality designs on schedule.
