Principal Full Stack Software Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days each week

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 annually, with possible discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performing backend systems for enterprise healthcare applications.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures using C# and .NET.
• Develop responsive front-end applications and collaborate with UI/UX, product, and engineering teams.
• Deliver testable software that meets product, regulatory, compliance, security, and performance requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and software demonstrations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while driving automated testing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field, plus 7+ years of web application development experience.
• Full-stack experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React, and backend development with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong experience designing backend systems, RESTful APIs, scalable architectures, and optimized software applications.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL/MSSQL, Azure storage tables, token-based web application security, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design data models for long-term binary data collection supporting AI applications.
• Familiarity with configuration management, issue tracking, and software development fundamentals.
