Assistant Club Manager in Perishable

Location: Port St. Lucie, Florida, United States; onsite club-based role

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for the Perishables department and provide cross-functional support across the club.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, certify, coach, and develop team members and future leaders.
• Plan labor schedules, manage coverage, and use reporting tools to improve sales, inventory availability, shrink, and profitability.
• Maintain GOLD, GAA, LAST, close-to-open, cleanliness, safety, and member service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, OSHA, RIST, cold-chain, and audit requirements.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading and motivating large, cross-functional teams, with strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of shrink control, staff development, merchandising, customer service, and store operations.
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and email.
• ServSafe certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Forklift operation, open-shift availability, regular full attendance, and age 18+ are required.
