Legal Engineer - Tax Law (Libra - Legal AI Assistant)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid, with at least eight days per month in the office

hirify.global’s Legal & Regulatory Division develops Libra, an AI platform for legal research, drafting, and legal-work automation.

What you will do

• Design, test, and optimize AI-powered tax-law workflows and Libra Assistants with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Work directly with law firms, corporate tax departments, and chartered accountants to understand use cases, map processes, and configure tailored solutions.
• Translate legal expertise into structured data, prompts, and workflows that produce accurate and legally robust outputs.
• Support customer pilots and proof-of-concepts using real legal documents, templates, and research workflows.
• Create tax-focused training and enablement content for the Libra Academy.
• Provide product feedback on prompt quality, accuracy, domain coverage, and emerging AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Law or Tax Law.
• 2–5 years of experience in a law-firm tax practice or the tax department of a listed company.
• Strong interest in technology, AI, and legal innovation, with familiarity with LLMs and generative AI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Advanced or fluent Italian and professional English.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, iterative, and cross-functional environments with a builder mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with LegalTech, TaxTech AI platforms, product management, or automation projects.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments and agile methodologies.
