Salary: RAL starting from €35,600 per year, plus restaurant vouchers

What you will do

• Supervise Borsa Italiana markets in real time and retrospectively, with a focus on derivatives.
• Handle market interventions, input errors, after-hours trading, and requests from member firms.
• Monitor compliance with trading venue rules and applicable national and European regulations.
• Manage surveillance alerts and investigations, and report suspicious transactions through STOR and AML processes.
• Monitor liquidity provision obligations and support trading surveillance customer service.
• Develop and maintain monitoring algorithms and tools, including AI-based tools for identifying suspicious trading patterns and automating routine surveillance tasks.

Requirements

• Quantitative background with strong analytical capabilities.
• Interest in financial market dynamics and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications and technologies.
• Operational understanding of trading venue rulebooks and market microstructure.
• Knowledge of MiFID II, MiFIR, and MAR is considered an advantage.
