Procurement Lead (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Build category strategies with Commercial, translating commercial goals into sourcing and negotiation plans for Australian product categories.
• Establish an initial sales and operations planning cadence using supplier performance, demand, supply, cost, and margin data.
• Own supplier performance management, including quarterly business reviews, scorecards, and performance improvement plans.
• Partner with Commercial and Clinical on new product launches, including supplier onboarding, TGA/ARTG registration readiness, and launch stock planning.
• Design supply-risk and contracting frameworks, maintain SKU-level landed-cost visibility, and manage inbound import, customs, duties, and biosecurity requirements.
• Coach junior procurement team members and set quality standards for sourcing and contracting.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in FMCG, pharma, healthcare, or another regulated consumer-goods environment.
• End-to-end category ownership with a track record of designing category strategies, negotiating commercially, and delivering measurable savings.
• Experience running supplier QBRs, performance scorecards, and structured supplier improvement programs.
• Working knowledge of Australian import, labelling, and regulatory requirements; familiarity with TGA/ARTG is highly desirable.
• Ability to design supply-risk, contracting, and sourcing frameworks with Legal and Compliance and establish an S&OP cadence from scratch.
• Strong analytical, cross-functional collaboration, coaching, and cost/margin-management skills; ERP and procurement systems experience is advantageous.

• Experience in pharma, healthcare, FMCG, or regulated consumer goods.
• Familiarity with TGA/ARTG requirements and ERP or procurement systems.
