Design Engineer (Electric Power)

Location: Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. On-site five days a week.

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical and electrical components for diesel and gas gensets.
• Provide factory support and help resolve complex technical problems affecting production and customer delivery dates.
• Support product maintenance, development, testing, NPI, NSI, PCI, and CPI programs.
• Resolve product design defects and quality concerns, including engineering deviations affecting performance, quality, and manufacturability.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, process improvements, and product reliability initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain and continuously improve engineering documentation, processes, and design guides while communicating technical information and project status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering and CREA registration.
• Intermediate English required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to design, build, and develop products from concept through production and solve significant technical challenges.
• Availability to work on-site five days a week in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial equipment, automotive, or electrical manufacturing environments.
• CAD software experience and product design or development experience.
• Project management experience.
• Post-graduate education.
