Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical Engineering)

What you will do

• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities, work orders, safety inspections, and equipment availability.
• Monitor equipment OEE and maintenance KPIs, analyze breakdown root causes, and implement structured improvement plans.
• Coordinate approved CAPEX projects from planning through execution, startup, and post-mortem review while controlling scope, cost, and schedule.
• Manage maintenance contracts, utilities, suppliers, service performance, payments, and related KPIs.
• Supervise mechanical assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic panel installation, and the startup of mechanical systems and machine rooms.
• Identify opportunities involving cost reduction, suppliers, technologies, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a similar position.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, with extensive mechanical knowledge and basic knowledge of electricity and automation.
• Experience with people management, maintenance routines, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and planned maintenance software.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

• Specialization in Maintenance.
• Basic English and Spanish.
• Technical course in mechanics and SENAI courses.
• Experience in cable factories.
