Manufacturing Associate II, Process Development (mRNA)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; site-based and full-time onsite with no remote work eligibility.

Salary: $63,200–$100,900 per year, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Execute established Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product unit operations for pilot-scale production.
• Prepare materials, buffers, equipment, and work areas for manufacturing activities.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale equipment while following safety and 5S standards.
• Apply Good Laboratory Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and accurate material tracking.
• Identify and communicate process, equipment, material, documentation, and safety issues.
• Support troubleshooting, onboarding, peer training, technology transfer, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Chemistry, Systems, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 0–2 years of related experience in a biotechnology manufacturing, development, quality, or laboratory environment.
• Experience in bioprocess development, technical problem solving, and technology transfer.
• Ability to execute procedures independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain strong documentation discipline.
• Must work full-time onsite at hirify.global’s Norwood, Massachusetts site; remote work is not available.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export control requirements; non-U.S. persons cannot be sponsored for an export control license.
