Financial Reporting Intern (Spring 2027)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. Full-time, in-office internship for 14 weeks from late January through late April, Monday–Friday during normal business hours. Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration employment support.

Salary: $21.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Use multiple financial tools to produce analyses and quantify business opportunities.
• Conduct business process, business data, and systems analysis to support business initiatives.
• Document current-state processes, business requirements, systems requirements, data transformation rules, and process flows.
• Gather requirements from business units and serve as a liaison with technical staff and project teams.
• Support project deliverables, systems development methodologies, test scenarios, test plans, and quality checks.
• Follow the company’s internal control framework and develop process or procedure improvements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing accounting, finance, business analytics, or another analytical degree; graduation must occur after the internship ends.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS.
