Insurance Coach (CII)

Location: Fully remote from the United Kingdom

Salary: £32,000–£42,400 per year

What you will do

• Conduct initial skills assessments and tailor learning journeys for insurance apprentices.
• Deliver induction presentations, group training sessions, and ongoing remote coaching.
• Hold monthly progress meetings and track development against objectives, milestones, and apprenticeship standards.
• Help apprentices connect workplace experience with required knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
• Coach apprentices in selecting and presenting portfolio evidence for End Point Assessment and professional qualifications.
• Maintain learner documentation, escalate progress concerns, and collaborate with line managers to achieve programme goals.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Insurance from CII is essential.
• Experience as a coach, tutor, or trainer, or substantial insurance industry experience in areas such as underwriting, broking, or claims.
• For candidates coming from insurance industry roles, experience nurturing, training, coaching, or managing teams is required.
• Functional skills in maths and English at minimum Level 2.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, administrative, organisational, and IT skills.
• Self-motivation, initiative, enthusiasm for supporting learners, and commitment to continuous professional development.
