Senior Manager Technical Project Management (Medical Diagnostics)

Location: O'Callaghan Mills, County Clare, Ireland; approximately 25% travel

What you will do

• Own the full project lifecycle for major and minor projects, from initiation through deployment.
• Lead regional and global technical and non-technical projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and benefits realization.
• Establish project and portfolio KPIs using hirify.global Business Systems tools and Global Operations PMO methodology.
• Develop project reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations for project teams, sponsors, steering committees, and executives.
• Improve project execution, portfolio management, and project manager development methodologies and tools.
• Mentor and develop global project managers and project teams in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of project management experience, master’s degree with 12+ years, or doctoral degree with 9+ years.
• Significant experience in a regulated medical device or diagnostics environment, including manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, engineering, or logistics and distribution.
• Experience leading large, complex operations or R&D projects, programs, and teams.
• Project management training or qualification and experience in project portfolio management.
• Experience leading design changes and technology transfer programs in a medical device or diagnostics regulatory environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, mentoring, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma experience, Kaizen leadership, and structured problem-solving capability.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Smartsheet, Miro, Excel, and project management software.
