Sr Pricing Analyst (Grocery/Sundries)

Location: Hybrid role based at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday.

Salary: $78,000–$101,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own pricing strategy and execution for grocery and sundries categories.
• Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, market trends, elasticity, and pricing effectiveness.
• Develop recommendations to optimize sales, margin, member value, and long-term category performance.
• Manage category margin performance against forecasts and recommend pricing or promotional actions to address gaps.
• Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Planning, Marketing, and Operations on cross-functional pricing initiatives.
• Lead complex ad hoc analyses and special projects supporting executive decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising analytics, category management, revenue management, or a related analytical field.
• Experience developing pricing strategies and influencing business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of retail pricing, margin optimization, forecasting, and category financial management.
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, project management, and organizational skills.
