Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst - Procurement (Procurement BI and Data Analytics): Building procurement analytics, reporting frameworks, datasets, and dashboards to improve spend visibility, cost analysis, and supplier performance with an accent on cost modeling, sourcing insights, and procurement data infrastructure. Focus on designing scalable reporting tools, validating savings with Finance, analyzing market and supplier dynamics, and evaluating AI-enabled procurement technologies.
Location: Remote in the United States; office location listed as Watsonville, California.
Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year.

What you will do
- Analyze procurement spend, volume, supplier data, demand, and MRP data to support sourcing decisions and financial planning.
- Develop cost models, pricing analyses, should-cost models, and total cost of ownership frameworks.
- Design and maintain procurement KPI dashboards, reporting frameworks, supplier scorecards, and performance visibility tools.
- Build and improve datasets, data structures, spend classifications, supplier hierarchies, and data collection and cleansing solutions.
- Partner with Finance to track, validate, and actualize savings and cost changes, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support category and sourcing strategies through market research, commodity and cost-index analysis, RFI/RFP workflows, and supplier segmentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or analytics.
- Strong experience with spend analysis, cost modeling, and financial or data analysis.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with BI tools such as Domo, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and executive-ready presentations.
- Ability to work remotely from the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience building data structures, reporting frameworks, or procurement analytics capabilities.
- Experience partnering with Finance on cost tracking, budgeting, or savings validation.
- Knowledge of commodity markets, cost indices, or supply market analysis.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled procurement tools.
