TL;DR
Tech Lead (DaaS) (Snowflake/Databricks/Redshift): Leading technical implementation and client data delivery solutions for a high-volume Data as a Service platform with an accent on cloud data platforms, integrations, and production support. Focus on troubleshooting complex database and infrastructure issues, mentoring Configurators, and coordinating cross-functional teams during EST business hours.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; EST business hours coverage required from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with occasional on-call support.

What you will do

  • Lead technical implementation activities for client data delivery solutions on the DaaS platform.
  • Design, implement, support, and review client data delivery processes and configurations.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to Configurators.
  • Partner with Project Managers and participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and solution reviews.
  • Troubleshoot complex database, infrastructure, connectivity, integration, and production issues as a Tier 3 escalation point.
  • Coordinate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to resolve platform issues and improve delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, SFTP, databases, data integration, and enterprise data delivery environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, connectivity, and production issues.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.
  • English proficiency at C1+ level is required.
  • Availability for EST business hours coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with GCP.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data and hirify.global datasets.
  • Experience in client-facing consulting, technical delivery, or data engineering environments.
