HBO/WO Thesis Internship KPI Analytics (Power BI)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working

Internship fee: €650 gross per month based on a 36-hour working week

hirify.global is a Dutch financial services organization supporting more than 18 million customers through its Life & Pensions business and other activities.

What you will do

• Research academic recommendations and organizational best practices for KPI design, management, and reporting.
• Assess how KPI challenges are currently addressed within hirify.global.
• Develop a practical KPI framework to improve consistency, efficiency, scalability, and future-proof reporting.
• Apply and refine the framework through a real business case in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
• Use Power BI, data, and visualizations to translate business requirements into meaningful insights.
• Produce a thesis transcript with findings and recommendations for improving KPI capabilities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding an HBO/WO degree in Business Analytics, Technical Business Administration, Business IT & Management, Information Management, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into concrete improvement proposals.
• Self-motivated and independent in planning and conducting research.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from IT and business.
• Dutch-speaking and international students are welcome.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI.
