Senior Software Engineer (Flink)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Vietnam office (CMC Creative Space) in Ho Chi Minh City

What you will do

• Build reliable, efficient, secure, and self-service stream-processing capabilities across hirify.global.
• Create abstractions, modules, and libraries that lower the barrier to using stream processing and reduce user maintenance and security effort.
• Improve automation and self-service capabilities supporting more than 1,000 stream-processing applications.
• Contribute to platformization, infrastructure, observability, security, and architectural design.
• Help internal users design and build real-time applications while promoting the streaming platform and its products.
• Participate in and improve on-call and incident-response procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or information security.
• Production experience operating stream-processing pipelines with Flink or Spark Streaming.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Programming experience with Scala or Java.
• Ability and motivation to learn and apply new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka Connect, Kubernetes, Go, GitLab CI, AWS, Terraform, or Linux.
