IC R&D Product Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead new product development, qualification, and introduction activities through transfer to high-volume production.
• Coordinate milestones and product releases with global Design, Test, Assembly, Quality, Marketing, and local Operations teams.
• Drive electrical characterization, silicon validation, and engineering qualification activities.
• Design burn-in and reliability hardware for continuous stress assessment during qualification.
• Analyze product performance data, identify manufacturing risks or design gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support design-for-manufacturability, yield improvement, root-cause analysis, and launch-readiness tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Product Engineering, R&D, Design Validation, or Product Characterization in a semiconductor environment; high-performing fresh graduates may also apply.
• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor technologies, MOSFET structures, discrete power electronics, or power management ICs.
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics and MOSFET or power management device operation.
• Hands-on experience with curve tracers, digital oscilloscopes, and Source Measure Units for electrical and thermal validation.
• Familiarity with 8D, the 7 Basic QC tools, statistical analysis platforms such as JMP or Exensio, PCB layout tools, and MS Office.
