Global Due Diligence Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Varna, Bulgaria, or the Philippines

What you will do

• Conduct customer due diligence for new and existing B2B clients, including company verification, UBO identification, and director screening.
• Screen clients against OFAC, UN, EU, and UK HMT watchlists, as well as PEP and adverse media databases.
• Identify and escalate risks linked to high-risk industries, offshore jurisdictions, and regulatory grey zones.
• Classify clients by jurisdictional and sectoral risk while supporting internal onboarding SLAs.
• Maintain complete documentation and audit trails in line with FATF record-keeping requirements.
• Apply AML knowledge covering EU 6AMLD, Irish CJA 2010, and FinCEN’s CDD Rule.

Requirements

• Experience in financial services, compliance, or legal operations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of corporate structures and AML requirements.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping habits.
• Detail-oriented approach with screening and data analysis skills.
• Interest in developing knowledge of AML regulations and financial crime trends.
• Fixed-term contract for 12 months.
