Business Analyst, Back Office Portfolio (Legal/Risk Technology)

Location: London, UK, Charlottesville, VA, or select US East Coast locations including Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina

Salary: US $85,000–$105,000 per year or UK £50,000–£60,000 per year

What you will do

• Support LogicGate, Onit, and NetDocuments platforms, with LogicGate as the expected primary focus over the next 12 months.
• Migrate manual, Excel-based, and legacy regulatory and risk reporting processes into structured platform workflows.
• Elicit and document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting materials.
• Support configuration, system enhancements, testing cycles, UAT, issue resolution, and change documentation.
• Plan and track small projects and enhancements through milestones, toll gates, and delivery follow-up.
• Partner with product, legal, risk, compliance, engineering, and business stakeholders to improve efficiency, controls, data integrity, and automation.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, process analysis, or systems analysis, including translating business needs into clear requirements and documentation.
• Practical experience with Agile ways of working, Jira or Jira Product Discovery, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, process workflows, UAT or testing, issue resolution, or operational platform changes.
• Exposure to legal operations, compliance, risk, controls, regulatory reporting, financial services, or similar process-led environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Confidence working with ambiguity and senior stakeholders; familiarity with AI or LLM tools is a useful differentiator.

Nice to have

• Experience with LogicGate, Onit, or NetDocuments.
• Exposure to SOX, control infrastructure, regulatory reporting, legal and risk technology, or compliance operations.
• Experience working across several process or compliance areas in a smaller organization or team.
