What you will do
- Derive and manage mission, system, and segment requirements across space, ground, and launch segments.
- Perform system analyses and contribute to spacecraft architecture and system-level trade-off decisions.
- Develop functional analyses, concepts of operations, mission analyses, system modes, FMEA/FMECA, and verification and validation plans.
- Maintain system budgets, including link, power, delta-v, and propellant budgets.
- Evaluate risks, define mitigation strategies, and participate in risk, opportunity, and resolution planning.
- Write engineering documentation, participate in design reviews, and respond to review item discrepancies.
Requirements
- BSc degree in aerospace, engineering, physics, or a similar field.
- 2–5 years of end-to-end mission experience as a systems engineer for space systems.
- Experience performing design and analysis for space systems.
Nice to have
- MSc or PhD in aerospace, engineering, mechatronics, physics, or a similar field.
- Experience in assembly, integration, and verification or space system operations.
- Ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication skills, agility, and flexibility.
