Senior Business Analyst (Core Banking)

What you will do

• Gather, analyse, and consolidate business requirements through workshops with finance, risk, regulatory, and technology stakeholders.
• Perform impact assessments and gap analyses across applications, business processes, data flows, and system interfaces.
• Define data mappings and prepare business requirements, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical and development teams while collaborating with architects, specialists, developers, and other analysts.
• Plan and coordinate migration, testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Manage the requirements backlog, identify delivery risks and functional gaps, and drive deliverables through implementation and production transition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, including limits, collateral management, and counterparty risk.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks, including Basel and local regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of accounting processes, general ledger structures, accounting schemes, and liquidity management.
• Experience with core banking products and processes, credit lifecycle, IFRS 9 reporting implementation, workshops, testing, and stakeholder management.
