Web Services Engineer - Localisation & Release Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend web services.
• Improve localization automation tools and translation workflows.
• Partner with engineering teams to support new software features.
• Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term technical strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Django.
• Interest in localization, internationalization, translation workflows, and global markets.
• Experience with machine learning, particularly Large Language Models.

Nice to have

• Experience using generative AI tools to support software development.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Ruby.
• Native-level proficiency in one or more foreign languages.
• Experience shipping high-quality products at scale.
