Software Development Engineer, Lambda - Experience (AWS Lambda)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate distributed systems for the AWS Lambda control plane.
• Develop high-throughput, strictly consistent, globally available APIs for customers and CloudFormation.
• Build asynchronous workflows for function creation, code deployment, and version publishing.
• Design metadata propagation across compute fleets and regions with ordering guarantees and resilience to partial failures.
• Own the complete path from API request through handoff to the Lambda data plane.
• Participate in on-call operations and resolve production issues collaboratively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one of Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Ability to own technical problems end-to-end, from API contracts to data-plane integration.
• Ability to design simple, reliable, and operable systems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience developing and deploying serverless applications with AWS services.
• Experience creating event-driven architectures, integrating Lambda with AWS services, and optimizing serverless performance and cost efficiency.
