Lead Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Builds supply-chain planning software for major retailers and manufacturers using Azure, GCP, and private data centers.

What you will do

• Lead security detection and response across endpoint devices, cloud environments, SaaS services, and software supply chains.
• Engineer custom detection signals using canary tokens, decoys, threat intelligence feeds, and other tripwires.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the cyber estate to prioritize detection coverage and accelerate incident response.
• Take hands-on leadership during major security incidents while coordinating with the Security Operations Center.
• Coach less experienced security team members without direct people-management responsibility.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience leading security incident response.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with a CNAPP solution such as Wiz.
• Current knowledge of emerging threats and common attacker TTPs.
• Solid understanding of software development and software security.
• Ability to identify effective applications of AI tools in security detection and response, with a self-guided and action-oriented approach.
