Lead, Revenue Cycle (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote; occasional travel may be required for team or company events or meetings.

Salary: $80,000–$92,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Distribute weekly and ad hoc revenue cycle assignments and ensure accurate, timely completion.
• Mentor team members, troubleshoot issues, and support team development.
• Perform and oversee payment posting, billing audits, adjustments, refunds, claim rejection and denial resolution, appeals, and follow-up actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors, manual adjustments, rework, and aged accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage special assignments aligned with departmental goals.
• Monitor KPIs, report team progress, and support productivity and revenue cycle targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of healthcare experience in a similar role.
• At least two years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable collection.
• Experience in behavioral health, strong organization and attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and context-switch.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including explaining technical information clearly to patients.
• Comfort adopting new technologies; strong AI fluency is preferred.
