What you will do

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, including brakes, alignments, suspension, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install tires and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
• Road-test vehicles and drive customer and company vehicles.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license required at all times.
• Ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Automotive service industry experience is preferred.
