TL;DR

Location: Onsite at the Hula Building Bentonville AR Home Office, 1700 SE 5th St, Bentonville, AR, United States

Annual salary: $60,000–$110,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potentially stock.

What you will do

  • Analyze merchandise, sales, member feedback, industry, and competitor data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop assortment and item merchandising recommendations across channels, including private and national brands.
  • Evaluate supply chain, operations, inventory, transportation, packaging, item placement, and planogram impacts.
  • Build business cases, conduct financial and hindsight analysis, and identify opportunities for return on investment or cost savings.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, operations, supply chain partners, peers, and leaders on strategic decisions and business solutions.
  • Conduct basic negotiations with suppliers while balancing cost, volume, payment terms, and overall business value.

Requirements

  • Must have completed a Summer 2026 Walmart or Sam’s Club internship to be eligible.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, or at least one year of experience in merchandising or a related area.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, assortment strategy, member buying behavior, supply chain and operations, financial management, and negotiation.
  • Ability to analyze business, merchandise, sales, industry, and competitor data and communicate recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
