VP Product Development, Marketing Technology (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $384,500–$520,500 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the technical strategy for data, audience management, experimentation, personalization, content, and customer communications platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and senior leaders across a complex global organization.
• Drive adoption of GenAI and agentic systems across marketing technology platforms.
• Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, and Customer Support to shape long-term customer and technology outcomes.
• Develop open, reusable platform architecture and company-wide engineering standards.
• Ensure platform security, availability, scalability, resilience, and delivery quality while coaching senior technology leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in software, architecture, engineering, and technology leadership.
• Experience building and scaling SaaS or platform products for millions of customers and high transaction volumes.
• Experience leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations and developing senior directors.
• Deep expertise in marketing technology, including data platforms, audience management, experimentation, personalization, content management, and customer communications.
• Strong AI/ML and GenAI experience, including scaling AI-native and agentic systems in production, plus proficiency with React, Java, JavaScript, NoSQL, and modern web and data architecture.
