Global Product Manager – Smart Cockpit (Localization & Regionalization)

Work on smart cockpit products for a leading autonomous company.

What you will do

• Establish global baselines, user personas, regional ecosystem scopes, and research templates for cockpit functions and scenarios.
• Analyze global automotive technology trends, large-model-powered cockpits, and product roadmaps of leading players.
• Conduct in-home interviews and in-car observations with overseas users to create native user personas.
• Perform competitor teardowns of local cockpit features and configurations, including European, Japanese, and Korean vehicles.
• Define global platform functions, foundational IVI and account systems, vehicle control logic, and PRD requirements.
• Plan regional differentiation, review localized HMI solutions, and prioritize global requirements and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Experience with product definition and requirements planning for smart cockpit or automotive products.
• Ability to conduct market research, user interviews, behavioral observation, and competitor analysis.
• Ability to translate regional insights into global and localized functional requirements.
• Understanding of HMI/UX requirements, technical feasibility, and localized interface solutions.
• Ability to assess cultural, religious, social, geopolitical, public-policy, and regulatory localization risks.
