Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

What you will do

• Support a wide range of building and infrastructure projects, with a focus on defence projects.
• Develop detailed HVAC designs and contribute to front-end engineering design activities.
• Lead projects and manage engineering work to scope, budget, and program.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work involving complex design and coordination requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Work with OEMs on product selection and installation while developing customized solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in detailed design, FEED, consulting, or complex engineering projects.
• Experience in HVAC design or project leadership is essential.
• Knowledge of local industry standards, codes, safety processes, regulations, and engineering practices.
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Working toward Chartered Engineer status (CPEng).
• Australian citizenship is required due to defence project involvement.

Nice to have

• Advanced skills with Revit and CAMEL.
• Experience with condition assessments, data sheets, and OEM product selection.
